The Professional Contractors' Group is the UK's leading representative body for freelance contractors in all professions. Within the membership of around 18,500, SOS has contacts we can call upon for expert advice in areas that are not our specialism, and we can often recommend freelancers from within the group if we are unable to meet a client's needs ourselves.

The Better Payment Practice Group exists to promote good commercial payment practice. Supporting and advising businesses on appropriate payment terms, and on debt management and recovery, members of the group have to abide by the group's guidelines on supplier payment policies and practice.

ISO9001:2000 is the internationally-recognised standard for quality management systems. Typically only accessible to larger corporations, through the PCG's scheme we are able to access the same rigorous quality systems used by blue-chip companies. We achieved certification in December 2007.

The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus exists to provide support to the sufferers of these conditions and their carers and relatives, and raises funds toward research into the condition. SOS make regular contributions to support their work.
